Join the TV presenter and historian on a memorable river cruise from Paris to the D-Day beaches, 75 years after the Allied landings

This year marks the 75th anniversary of the greatest seabourn invasion in history as the Allied troops landed on the beaches of northern France. We are delighted to bring you the chance to understand the heroic deeds of those who were involved in on D-Day in June 1944 in the company of historian and presenter, Dan Snow.

On this six-day river journey from Paris to Normandy, you will sail out of the capital on the comfortable MS Renoir along the banks of the Seine and up through the Normandy countryside, discovering great chateaux, gardens and, of course, the best French gastronomy as you go.

As you near the coast the focus turns to the Second World War. Accompanied by expert Royal British Legion guides throughout, you will also be joined by Dan at the key landing sites and enjoy his exclusive insights in to key moments surrounding Operation Neptune. You will also visit picturesque Honfleur and Rouen, before enjoying a night in the French capital.

Plus, everyone booking this tour will receive a free signed copy of Dan Snow's latest book, On This Day in History.

D-Day was not only the largest seaborne invasion in history but also one of the most extraordinary examples of raw human courage and solidarity in the face of adversity. I very much look forward to welcoming and meeting you on this exclusive and utterly memorable trip.
